40 Years of Scalabrinian Presence in the Philippines 1982 - 2022 | A Journey of Love and Service!

With the approval of Cardinal Jaime Sin, the cardinal of Manila, in 1982, the first Scalabrinian Missionaries, Frs. Anthony Paganoni, Giovanni Iacono, and Luiggi Sabbadin, arrived in Manila during the months of September -November of the same year.

On 2022 the Scalabrinians are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Scalabrinian Presence in the Philippines.

Full of joy for the news about the canonization of Blessed Scalabrini, on October 9, 2022, the Scalabrinians celebrate with gratitude and renewed missionary enthusiasm their presence in the Philippines. Looking ahead with hope they vow to continue serving the migrants, refugees and seafarers with the apostolic zeal of Saint John Baptist Scalabrini.
